This release follows a growing interest in helping consumers anticipate and prevent potential overdrafts and missed bill payments. ***Deposit\_amount\_required*** is the estimated amount a user needs to deposit into an account before their next paycheck to meet their upcoming bill payments and prevent an overdraft or NSF. This is calculated based on the current balance and the total amount of expected bill and subscription payments for a given account up until the next predicted income date. ### Why it matters For consumers who live paycheck to paycheck, it can be difficult to plan out how they should manage their spending before their next paycheck.
